Journal 5

Depending on how reliable your webpage is, they can be misleading. An example of course iswikipedia, as explained in class yesterday. Anyone can log on and add or change around any information they desire. The webpage I chose for my topic, I made sure, is reliable. At the bottom of the page is the copy right date and publisher. It also states "All rights reserved". The webpage has plenty of Political Cartoons to choose from with a simple description of each, explaining why that cartoon was made. To continue, depending on the message being given, sometimes pictures speak louder than words and vice versa. A very dramatic scene may capture the eyes of far more people than the words of lets say the president of this time. The reasoning behind this is that they can't relate or truly picture what is being said, but if they see a horrifying picture of theJappanesse slaughtering innocent people then that would have a larger affect.
