The article i found came right from google. The website i found it from is"www.economist.com". The text the website uses is very plain, nothing that grabs the readers attention except for the name of the website in big red font. The author of this article does not think cookbooks are valid. He says that in order to make a good meal you need to cook without using any measurements given. I feel like this article is just an opinion on what the author feels about cookbooks. This is not a reliable source. The text and the picture in this article act together to prove the authors point that cookbooks are not the right way to go when cooking. When i read this article i felt that the author was very biased in his opinions. He could have used other pictures that show a cookbook can be put to good use. By adding videos i feel like its easier to understand then a long boring article like the one i read. Videos have to be appropriate for the article. In this article they could of put in a video to show how easily it is to mess up cooking. The only time its good to use just words and not any visual elements is in something serious and very personal.
