Journal 4

The ad is effective because it compares two expensive cars and shows one being more "dominant" than the other. The message is basically to sway people who are looking to purchase a car towards buying a BMW. It shows a Jaguar and a BMW, however, more of the BMW. The author shows that he favors BMW over the Jaguar because the Jaguar emblem is reversed and it appears to be running away from the BMW. It tries to convince the audience to buy their product by showing one car being more appealing than the other.
