This ad is very effective because the person in the ad is Dwayne Wade, who is a famous basketball star to which people look up to and like. Since he is a role model a lot more people will listen in and try and hear the message that is trying to be portrayed. This ad is trying to push the message across that you can fall down all the time, but always pick yourself back up and keep fighting. The video shows Dwayne Wade falling down and falling down over and over but each time, no matter how hard he falls, he picks himself back up and keeps playing. The ad chose a very well-known superstar to be the main focus in the ad, and also it pushes a strong, motivational message towards the audience that encourages the audience to play Converse shoes.
